My prompts for these ships are all the same prompt: one of these characters grew up in Mikado, with access to wholesome sunlight, weather, seasons, and fresh food. The other one grew up in post-Cataclysm Tokyo eating dried/canned goods from before the war (a supply that grows shorter literally every day) and demon meat. Please have the Mikado character introduce the Tokyo character to some of the things they've been missing out on!
Maybe Gaston brings Hallelujah a basket of fresh grapes when he comes to visit Tokyo and see how the reformed Ashura-Kai is faring.
Maybe Isabeau takes Asahi into the castle town to treat her to still-warm bread and creamy butter at her favorite bakery.
Maybe Flynn and Nanashi have a picnic by the shores of Lake Mikado!
Swapping ships and treats is absolutely fine, as is any other idea you have along these lines. The thing I'm hungry for here is the chance for the Tokyo character to experience new, delicious flavors and the reassurance that good food can be plentiful.

In general I'm way more interested in the first season than the second; I love the contrasting domestic spaces of season 1 and the tight focus on sustenance not only for the amazons but for the humans dealing with them (count the shots of people eating; there are a lot). The refrain of if you want to live, you have to eat and Jin's insistence on foregrounding the killing humans also do for food do so much to lean into the theme, and I love it.
So I guess I want to see more of food fueling your chosen ship, whether that's in the immediate amazon-in-battle sense or the more symbolic keeping-the-team-together sense. The connection here between the literal and metaphorical what-keeps-them-going is so tightly woven. I love that we do get some light-hearted moments and occasional fluff in the canon, and going that direction is welcome, but there's also a lot to work with here about how much survival costs and i'm open to dark themes too. Canon divergences very welcome.
Like Mamoru, I love the team and hamburgers, and if you wanted to do something with more of the extermination team involved you should feel free, whether that involves more shipping or just their dysfunctional loser family.

I am forever starved for post-game fic that explores the new circumstances of the world, as our heroes navigate the aftermath of multiple large-scale destructive events. For any of these groups of characters, I'd be interested in foraging wild foods, low-tech cooking like campfires or wood stoves, looking after livestock, planting or harvesting crops, learning how to brew/distill alcohol, having the first successful harvest feast after the game is over... As you can probably tell from me tagging sweet but not sour, I'm more into this being a hopeful and/or celebratory thing than a grim struggle for survival.
More non-exhaustive thoughts about individual groups:
Sigurd & the kids: Sigurd trying to set up a birthday party for one of them after he gets them out of Aveh? Maybe this is where Margie got that taste for chiffon Nisan! Sigurd is determined to give these kids some nice things despite the war, damnit.
Elements Mk 1: What are Solarian MREs like? How different is Jesiah's reaction to them than, say, Hyuga's? Do they bicker about who has to prepare meals on missions before ultimately Sigurd sighs and takes care of it? Alternately getting drunk on stolen liquor as teenagers. Alternately getting drunk on home-brew on the surface!
Bart/Billy: Billy tries so damn hard to take care of people all the time, so what about Bart trying to figure out what he likes and bring him a treat? Or, in the department of big meaningful gestures, Bart bringing a shipment of staple foods to the orphanage to give Billy one less thing to worry about.
Sigurd/Ramsus: I love teenage Sigurd (and all the Elements but esp Sigurd) unwittingly teaching Ramsus how to human. Maybe Ramsus has been just purely utilitarian about food and Sigurd's example gets him to start caring about flavors? Maybe Solaris has a Valentine's-like holiday and they share chocolate.
Ramsus/Dominia: Maybe Solarian food is weird to her when she first comes topside and Ramsus gets hold of some kind of jerky or spice blend or something from Elru so she can have something familiar. Maybe he's the kind of officer who will work straight through meals on a campaign and she has to remind him to take a few minutes to eat.

Lucifer/Sandalphon: the coffeehouse NOT au, in which Lucifer comes home and the two of them run a cafe together, possibly with cute mishaps with whipped cream. Alternately, trying to pick out the perfect dessert to pair with coffee, Sandalphon looking for something that will satisfy his sweet tooth and Lucifer's appreciation for bitter flavors simultaneously.
Belial/Sariel: Belial treating his favorite angel of death to a fancy meal, or some brightly-colored junk food, or a glass of something with real kick: food for pleasure is definitely a concept nobody else had bothered to introduce Sariel to, and you know he'd just light up with delight at something so easy to understand and enjoy.
Dragon Knights: Obvs this is something to do with Vane and his fantastic cooking prowess, and the pleasure he takes in being able to do nice things for his comrades. A cooking lesson for Lancelot, grilling on the beach like in the L/V summer fate, cupcakes to share, Valentine chocolate—I just really love how much these guys love and appreciate each other and they should do it with food.
Apollo and Her Princesses: A celebratory feast for the restoration of Erste Kingdom! Or, smaller, the first birthday party Orchis has been able to have in years, or the first one Orchid has had ever. Apollo shedding her grim determination enough to be able to enjoy a feast or a birthday cake or the delight in someone else's expression as she eats. ♥
Societte/Yuel: Picking wild berries together, juice staining lips and fingers, feeding each other the tastiest ones they can find. Or at the opposite end of the fanciness scale, working together to prepare the beautiful symbolic dishes that will be served at a festival where they dance.

I fell for Patrick’s dry sense of humor pretty fast and was sold on the pairing when he confidently told David he’d get those grants. I love how David cares so deeply and struggles to admit it because of his history, but won’t stop.

I love how whimsically romantic Anne is, and I love how she loves nature. Something super seasonal would be fab. This is such a good food based fandom—all the cooking delicious sounding things, Romantic picnics, tromps through orchards, descriptions of meals made with the ingredients they grew, all great fun. Does Anne fall in love with some food bearing plant that she babies and tends and rejoices at?
Best friends falling in love has long been a favorite trope, and what better best friends than Anne and Diana? Give me youthful crushes and kisses pre-marriages, or give them a happily ever after living in their own lovely home with a spare room, it’s all good. Does Diana try to help Anne through some cooking scrapes? Do they try raspberry cordial as adults? Make ice cream together?
I also love how Anne wore Katherine down, and their marvelous trip to Avonlea for Christmas. What if they wandered the world together? Would they settle down back on PEI, or someplace totally new? I could see them being happy even in other places in Canada, like the setting of the Blue Castle. (And did Anne ever follow through on her spanking threat, ha?) There’s so much for these two to explore. Maybe Katherine has traveled the world and comes back with books of recipes she’s learned in her travels.

My prompts for these ships are all the same prompt: one of these characters grew up in Mikado, with access to wholesome sunlight, weather, seasons, and fresh food. The other one grew up in post-Cataclysm Tokyo eating dried/canned goods from before the war (a supply that grows shorter literally every day) and demon meat. Please have the Mikado character introduce the Tokyo character to some of the things they've been missing out on!
Maybe Gaston brings Hallelujah a basket of fresh grapes when he comes to visit Tokyo and see how the reformed Ashura-Kai is faring.
Maybe Isabeau takes Asahi into the castle town to treat her to still-warm bread and creamy butter at her favorite bakery.
Maybe Flynn and Nanashi have a picnic by the shores of Lake Mikado!
Swapping ships and treats is absolutely fine, as is any other idea you have along these lines. The thing I'm hungry for here is the chance for the Tokyo character to experience new, delicious flavors and the reassurance that good food can be plentiful.

In general I'm way more interested in the first season than the second; I love the contrasting domestic spaces of season 1 and the tight focus on sustenance not only for the amazons but for the humans dealing with them (count the shots of people eating; there are a lot). The refrain of if you want to live, you have to eat and Jin's insistence on foregrounding the killing humans also do for food do so much to lean into the theme, and I love it.
So I guess I want to see more of food fueling your chosen ship, whether that's in the immediate amazon-in-battle sense or the more symbolic keeping-the-team-together sense. The connection here between the literal and metaphorical what-keeps-them-going is so tightly woven. I love that we do get some light-hearted moments and occasional fluff in the canon, and going that direction is welcome, but there's also a lot to work with here about how much survival costs and i'm open to dark themes too. Canon divergences very welcome.
Like Mamoru, I love the team and hamburgers, and if you wanted to do something with more of the extermination team involved you should feel free, whether that involves more shipping or just their dysfunctional loser family.

I am forever starved for post-game fic that explores the new circumstances of the world, as our heroes navigate the aftermath of multiple large-scale destructive events. For any of these groups of characters, I'd be interested in foraging wild foods, low-tech cooking like campfires or wood stoves, looking after livestock, planting or harvesting crops, learning how to brew/distill alcohol, having the first successful harvest feast after the game is over... As you can probably tell from me tagging sweet but not sour, I'm more into this being a hopeful and/or celebratory thing than a grim struggle for survival.
More non-exhaustive thoughts about individual groups:
Sigurd & the kids: Sigurd trying to set up a birthday party for one of them after he gets them out of Aveh? Maybe this is where Margie got that taste for chiffon Nisan! Sigurd is determined to give these kids some nice things despite the war, damnit.
Elements Mk 1: What are Solarian MREs like? How different is Jesiah's reaction to them than, say, Hyuga's? Do they bicker about who has to prepare meals on missions before ultimately Sigurd sighs and takes care of it? Alternately getting drunk on stolen liquor as teenagers. Alternately getting drunk on home-brew on the surface!
Bart/Billy: Billy tries so damn hard to take care of people all the time, so what about Bart trying to figure out what he likes and bring him a treat? Or, in the department of big meaningful gestures, Bart bringing a shipment of staple foods to the orphanage to give Billy one less thing to worry about.
Sigurd/Ramsus: I love teenage Sigurd (and all the Elements but esp Sigurd) unwittingly teaching Ramsus how to human. Maybe Ramsus has been just purely utilitarian about food and Sigurd's example gets him to start caring about flavors? Maybe Solaris has a Valentine's-like holiday and they share chocolate.
Ramsus/Dominia: Maybe Solarian food is weird to her when she first comes topside and Ramsus gets hold of some kind of jerky or spice blend or something from Elru so she can have something familiar. Maybe he's the kind of officer who will work straight through meals on a campaign and she has to remind him to take a few minutes to eat.

I love how whimsically romantic Anne is, and I love how she loves nature. Something super seasonal would be fab. This is such a good food based fandom—all the cooking delicious sounding things, Romantic picnics, tromps through orchards, descriptions of meals made with the ingredients they grew, all great fun. Does Anne fall in love with some food bearing plant that she babies and tends and rejoices at?
Best friends falling in love has long been a favorite trope, and what better best friends than Anne and Diana? Give me youthful crushes and kisses pre-marriages, or give them a happily ever after living in their own lovely home with a spare room, it’s all good. Does Diana try to help Anne through some cooking scrapes? Do they try raspberry cordial as adults? Make ice cream together?
I also love how Anne wore Katherine down, and their marvelous trip to Avonlea for Christmas. What if they wandered the world together? Would they settle down back on PEI, or someplace totally new? I could see them being happy even in other places in Canada, like the setting of the Blue Castle. (And did Anne ever follow through on her spanking threat, ha?) There’s so much for these two to explore. Maybe Katherine has traveled the world and comes back with books of recipes she’s learned in her travels.
